4th of July in Big Bear

Only a few weeks away, it is time to start planning your 4th of July celebration. This is a day to honor the birthday of the United States, and the adoption of the Declaration of Independence, 236 years ago. What would an Independence Day celebration be without a picnic and an amazing firework show with family and friends?
Our team at the beautiful Snow Lake Lodge, in Big Bear Lake, CA will be having a 4th of July BBQ for all of their guests! We hope you can make it! However, if you are looking for other celebrations as well, we have been provided with some alternatives:

  1. “The Annual Rotary Club Big Bear Lake Fourth of July Lakefront Fireworks and Barbeque at the Marina Resort on Lakeview Drive. This event will take place from 4:30-7:30 on Wednesday, 7/4/12. Different meal options are available for purchase, from Pizza meals, to Rib Eye steaks. There are also VIP tickets available that include the meal and reserved seating. For kids, 10 and under, there is No Food, View Only tickets available also. There will be live entertainment and kids games before the Fireworks start.   2. “Come attend the biggest 4th of July fireworks display in Southern California. The fireworks are shot off from a barge on the Lake directly off of Pine Knot Landing. Fireworks begin between 8:45-9:15pm. Viewable from any of our public parks or the best spot, from a boat on the Lake. Make sure to bring a jacket or blanket because it can get cold.
