4th of July in Ventura County

4th of July is a day to honor the birthday of the United States, and the adoption of the Declaration of Independence, 236 years ago. A day to dress in Red, White and Blue, start up the BBQ, and celebrate with family and friends!
This special day is right around the corner, do you have plans yet? Well if you will be visiting the beautiful Channel Island Shores, in Oxnard, you should definitely check out the celebration going down in Ventura. This yearly celebration is expected to be better than ever! Start your day off at the 37th Annual 4th of July Street Fair, in Downtown Ventura. This year’s theme is “Happy Birthday Lady Liberty”. This part of the event is FREE, and open from 10AM-5PM. You will be able to enjoy the Pushem Pullem Parade at 10AM. There will be over 200 artists, crafters, and food vendors to explore, and six stages with live entertainment! From there, travel to Ventura College, to enjoy the biggest fireworks show they have ever had! You can purchase firework show tickets in advance or at the gate. Gates open at 4PM, and show starts at 9PM.
Will we be seeing you there?
